Q&A

No incidents have occurred, but pacifiers are being recalled. Why are the pacifiers being recalled?
Children's safety is of paramount importance to Esska. Therefore, we sent the pacifiers for further inspection at an independent testing institute. Unfortunately, it turns out that pacifiers with a coloured knob could crack when a 1 kg weight is dropped five times on the pacifier from a height of 100 mm. Therefore, Esska is recalling the pacifiers.

How do I know that newly manufactured Happy, Happy Glow, Happy Mini and Happy Mini Glow pacifiers are safe to use?
Newly manufactured Happy, Happy Glow, Happy Mini and Happy Mini Glow pacifiers have a different material composition in the knob that allows the bud to pass impact tests according to EN1400:2013+A2:2018. For all pacifiers, it is important to follow the instructions for use. Check the pacifier before each use, throw away the pacifier as soon as it shows signs of damage or wear, and change the pacifier after 1-2 months of use.
